Eagle Travels is Gujarat’s leading bus operator with its headquarters at Ahmedabad & Rajkot. Eagle Travels commenced its operations in the year 1978 with just 2 buses in its fleet.

 Today our operations have spread across 30 cities in 6 states such as Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh & New Delhi.

This has made us pioneers in several initiatives like 1^st travel operator to have a dedicated call center, app based ticket booking, ‘Pay Later’ facilities among several others. This approach of ours makes us the preferred traveller of 76% of our passengers.

We are also the most preferred travel operator for Ladies passengers. We follow a policy of ‘Women’s safety first and profit next’. This has made us the first choice for all female passengers travelling alone.

Eagle Travels has spread its wings to all kinds of services from Non AC /AC buses seating & sleeper buses Volvo, Mercedes single & multi axle buses seating, semi sleeper & sleeper buses along with Super premium luxury bus especially designed by Dilip Chabria called CLUB ONE. With a fleet of over 200 buses we have over 90 departures in a day. We also serve to corporate clients like Reliance ( India’s largest private sector company), Essar, Tata Nano, AMW, Torrent among many others.

 Rajkot, Ahmedabad,Mumbai,Udaipur, Nathdwara,Pune are some of the cities to which we have multiple range of services like Non AC sleeper bus,Volvo seating bus, Volvo sleeper bus & Club One services. Our fares range from Rs 160 to Rs 2500. We have something to offer for all of our passengers.

For our passengers who do not want to come down to our office physically and book tickets we have started a dedicated call centre 079- 61555555 for all your booking needs & queries.

For passengers who use a smart phone, We have an andriod based app for ticket booking.

For passengers who want to book tickets using internet/online we have our portal www.eaglebus.in.

We know that the penetration of credit card in India is around 2 % & internet banking is also slowly growing so for all our customers who want to book tickets with us online & do not have a credit card/internet banking to pay can avail of  PAY LATER facility. Where by a passenger has a confirmed booking & has to pick up the ticket one hour before departure by paying at our office.

For passengers travelling long distance with us like to Delhi, Banglore we provide them with a blanket during the journey.

Our Volvo B9R bus & B7R bus have charging point in all seat sections so that our passengers do not have to face drained out battery of mobile, laptop ,ipod etc...

Our bus in the Jamnagar- Rajkot- Ahmedabad have WIFI facilities allowing our passengers to surf internet while on the move & not miss their important work & pleasure.

We provide a bottle of water to all our passengers along with entertainment in form of either personal LCD screen in case of AC sleeper & Volvo sleeper buses & 2 LCD screens in Volvo/Mercedes seating & multi axle buses.

We also have Eagle privilege card for all our regular patrons, We provide a 10 % discount on each booking starting from the time they issue the card with us. The privilege card comes with a small registration fees of Rs 200 & is valid for one year.

Our latest offering CLUB ONE comes with 140 degree recliner seats each seat has its own entertainment system with a 14" inch tv screen equipped with LIVE TV & 5000 of entertainment programmes to choose from. We serve gourmet food to all our passengers along with coffee. The bus is equipped with state of the art flush toilets. Our bus also has Bus Hostess to serve our passengers with food & drinks.

Milestones

Eagle travels, A leading bus operator in the States Of Gujarat, Rajasthan & Maharashtra covering over 15 cities with over 75 departures daily commenced its operations in a very humble manner in 1978. Here are the Milestones in the Journey of Eagle Travels of Last 35 Years.

1978 Started operations with Rajkot - Mumbai bus service.First private player to do so. Two departures in a day.
1982 Launched Rajkot - Ahmedabad bus services. We had just 1 bus and we carried out 3 - 4     departures in a day.Today we have 36 departures in a day. Connecting these cities every one hour. One of our flagship bus routes.

1982 Launched Rajkot - Surat bus services via Baroda, 4 departures.
1883 Launched Rajkot to Baroda bus services with 3 departures in a day.
1985 Launched Rajkot to Porbander bus services.
1985 Launched Rajkot to Gandhinagar  bus services. First operator to start such bus services.
1986 Launched Rajkot to Pune bus services.

 1987 Launched  Rajkot to Udaipur - Nathadwara bus services.

1990 Launched Rajkot - Vapi -Silvassa bus services.
1992 Launched Rajkot - Mumbai - Sleeper Bus services. .

2002 Introduced Volvo bus In Gujarat and first of its kind. Refer to our previous blog: Pioneers.
2003 Launched Jamnagar- Rajkot - Ahmedabad. Today we have 18 departures in a day to connect Jamnagar.

2007 Launched Ahmedabad - Mumbai bus services. Daily 8 departures with Sleeper, Volvo Seating & Volvo sleeper buses. During peak season we increase our services up to 16 departures to meet ourpassengers demand.
2007 Non Stop Buses between Rajkot - Ahmedabad. A instant hit with passengers and growing strong with your support.

2008 New  Models of Volvo - Multi Axle being introduced.

2010 Introduction of Mercedes Multi Axle buses.

Eagle Travels Gujarat’s No 1 bus operator got its name from its founder chairman Late Sh. Rasiklal Damjibhai Golwala, a dynamic man with a vision to foresee things in the right perspective. He was always focused on his goals towards giving “Comfort”  to its customers & always being a step ahead in its services & approach. It was under his able leadership that Eagle travels grew from 2 buses to 200 buses today.

Founder Chairman had a vision to set out its existence everywhere which also can be seen in the logo of Eagle Travels. An Eagle over the globe. Such Zeal for growth has enabled Eagle travels from being a service operator in Rajkot spread its wings to 15 cities across Gujarat, Maharashtra & Rajasthan.

The legacy of this great man is now being carried forward by his able son Mr Jayendra R Bavaria, Chairman & Managing Director,Eagle Corporate Pvt Ltd who believes “The Customer is our reason for being here”. Like his father he has also believed in being ‘Always a step … Ahead’, This motto has helped Eagle Travels become the first operator of Volvo & Mercedes buses in Gujarat region.
