Women's day

Women is the most beautiful creation of the God. In order to recognise the efforts of women who play several important roles in the life's of each of us. United Nations started celebrating 8th  March as International Women's day. The political and human rights theme designated by the United Nations runs strong, and political and social awareness of the struggles of women worldwide are brought out and examined in a hopeful manner. This is a day which some people celebrate by wearing purple ribbons

This celebration of Women's day started in the year 1977. This year's women's day celebration theme by The UN  is "Equality for Women is Progress for All".

There is a very famous saying, "If you educate a male, you educate a person,If you educate a female,you educate a whole family".
Today Women play an equal part in the success and progress of the world. From Mother Teresa, Ela Bhatt (SEWA), Sania Mirza( Lawn Tennis),Saina Nehwal( Badmintion) Chanda Kochchar (ICICI Bank), Shikha Sharma( AXIS) Arundhati Bhattacharjee ( SBI) ,Kalpana Chawla. Anu Agha, Zia Mody, Indira Gandhi, Sarojini Naidu, Lata Mangeshkar, The list is endless today, Each and every field you can think of there is a women achiever.  

Today's women is not only a successful Mother,Wife,Sister,Daughter but also a successful Entrepreneur, Manager, Ideator,Innovator,Scientist,Astronaut,Sports person,Actress,Director,Music Composer,Model,Singer and it goes on.

Women in the society needs to be respected,Empowered,Encouraged and given full support, She should not be suppressed to lead a life of compromises. Women does a lot of sacrifices in her life by bringing us to this world.



We at Eagle Travels over the last 36 years have followed a policy ensuring Women’s safety and comfort while travelling alone with us. Eagle Travels never allocates a seat next to a alone women traveler to a male passengers in spite of the fact that the bus is running full and there is huge demand for the seat. We forgo profits in order to maintain Safety and comfort for women passengers travelling alone. We allocate co passengers seat only to a lady. In case we are not able to find another lady, the adjacent seat remains vacant.
